Dr. Blackburn's books are filled with stories from teachers about the strategies and activities that make a
difference for students. She is currently working on two follow-ups to Rigor is NOT a Four-Letter Word,
one which is designed for teachers of all content areas in grades 3-12 and the second for school leaders.
For Rigor in Action, Dr. Blackburn is specifically looking for ideas from administrators and teachers
that are examples of activities, strategies, or lessons that are rigorous. Ideas may be classroom-based or school-based
(such as moving to grading practices that are more rigorous or redesigning curriculum).
