End of School Year Reflection

YOUR END OF SCHOOL YEAR REFLECTION

AN IMPORTANT PERSONAL BLOG FOR TEACHERS & LEADERS

OPEN BOOK BLOG ENTRY : JUNE 8th 2024

As your year is finishing for those in the US, it’s important to take some time to reflect.

What do I mean?

Most years, I was so happy to finish, my perspective was, “I’m glad that was over!”. I’d ask you to consider doing more than that. Take a few days before you jump into this activity, but then block out at least 30 minutes to think about the following.

From my experience, it’s worth it to think about these five items. My final recommended activity is that you write yourself a postcard. Based on your reflection, what do you want to tell yourself for next year? Be realistic, but hopeful. And then, relax and take some time for yourself this summer. And remember, you made a difference this year, even if it didn’t feel like it.
